Welcome to the future home of Dominion Water and Sanitation District, the only wholesale water district formed specifically to address the growing needs of Douglas County, Colorado.
 
Through a regional commitment and perspective, Dominion is focused on finding and developing affordable sources of renewable water to keep pace with the burgeoning population of the Chatfield Basin. Dominion will only serve other water districts and municipalities, and will be overseen by Douglas County staff with input from Sterling Ranch and other area communities.
 
Dominion promotes sustainable supplies, improved user conservation, and sound resource management as the keys to an integrated, innovative water strategy for the region. The District is currently sponsoring a Water Efficiency Grant Study to explore alternative methods for water conservation in Douglas County, the results of which will be made available on this space when completed.
